A man suffered injuries to his leg in a hit-and-run collision near Earith.

The 21-year-old man was walking on the B1050 towards the junction of the A1123 in Earith when he was struck by a vehicle that failed to stop, causing him to fall and injure his leg and hip.

Police are now appealing for witnesses to the incident which happened between 12pm and 12.15pm on October 2.

PC Mick Lippiatt said: “The victim believes the car was blue in colour but did not manage to get any of the vehicle’s details, however the driver knows who they are and I urge them to come forward and make contact with police.”

Anyone with information should contact PC Mick Lippiatt from the road policing unit on 101 quoting incident 212 of October 2.
