TWO brawls in St Ives town centre at the weekend have resulted in a police appeal for witnesses.
In the first incident one man suffered minor injuries following a brawl in Station Road around 5pm on Friday. A group had been rowing on a bus from Cambridge, and when they got off, a fight broke out.
A 23 year old man was later arrested and released on police bail.
In the second incident, a man was taken to hospital following a night-time brawl in Crown Street around 2.20am on Saturday.
The man, who was fighting with two others, was taken to Hinchingbrooke Hospital. All three were later arrested.
