A charity group in Ramsey which supports children with life-limiting conditions is celebrating after welcoming more families to its group.

Little Miracles, which has recently moved to the town's locality office, now caters for 156 families in the area, offering support for youngsters with disabilities and additional needs.

Amy Clarke, chair of the Ramsey branch, said: "We're growing really fast and we want to make people aware of what we do.

"I've got three children and two both have autism so I get it, and my eldest is 15 so I've got a lot of experience."

Ms Clarke, who is also chair of trustees for Little Miracles, has been running the branch for more than a year, which even takes families on holiday.

"I get so much joy from seeing families enjoying themselves and I like to push them by trying new things like camping and going canoeing and things like that.

"People are becoming more aware of us and people are coming and seeing what we are all about. We're all volunteers and I encourage all the families to help. It's not my group, it's everybody's and we do what they want to."
