Huntingdon Rotary Club brought some Christmas cheer to Val McKinlay of Huntingdon when she won the club’s grand Christmas hamper draw.
The draw was made last Sunday as the club hosted a stall at Huntingdon’s lights switch-on.
Mike Fowler, club president, said: “The hamper was packed with goodies worth over £100 all donated by club members and £548 was raised for charities and local projects we support. I want to thank all members of the public and club members who bought tickets to make this such a success.”
Second place, a bottle of champagne, went to Vicky Scrase, of Grafham, third place, three bottles of wine, went to Maggie Bailey, of Buckden, and fourth place, two bottles of wine, went to Alan Kerrison, of Chatteris.
