Plans have been unveiled by retirement housebuilder McCarthy and Stone for apartments on the former Territorial Pub site.
The development in Cromwell Walk will consist of 26 one and two bedroom apartments for the over 60s.
Newly named Elm Tree Court will also have a homeowners’ lounge, outside terrace, rooftop terrace and guest suite.
Cheryl Bissett, Regional Sales and Marketing Director at McCarthy & Stone East Midlands, explains: “We are delighted to be launching our latest Retirement Living development, Elm Tree Court, which is set in an established residential area, yet with amenities and services provided on the town’s popular high street.”
Work on the site started in March for the apartments that are expected to have the first residents moving in June 2016.
