During the public forum at the meeting on April 3, five parishioners spoke against the proposed development of land behind 92-108 High Street. They questioned the validity of statements made in the application regarding the layout of the site, a roundabout on High Street, a tree survey, possible contamination of the site by wartime dumping from RAF Alconbury, and loss to wildlife. Four letters and another speaker spoke against the proposals for development behind Myrtle House in Back Lane.

Police had been visiting the school at drop off/pick up times and supported the request for double yellow lines in the vicinity. Troublesome bikers had been spoken to and one bike confiscated.

The clerk reported that a meeting with residents on the Front regarding parking had been set for April 16.

It was also agreed to employ a youth worker at £624 per year on a contract basis.
