Ten councillors, newly elected district councillor Phillip Godfrey, and a member of the public attended the November 7 meeting. During the public forum, the new owner of Greenbank, High Street, showed the council his plans for two more dwellings on the site before submitting a formal planning application to Huntingdonshire District Council (HDC). Reported crimes were one stolen canoe, five stolen bicycles and an intruder seen in a garden. Cllr Godfrey introduced himself. His first meeting at HDC will be in December. Two planning applications were accepted. HDC will draft dog control orders covering the parish. An application for funding to renew the cemetery gates will be made. It was agreed that the Village Hall Trust could organise a festival on Overcote playing field on July 21-22, 2007, subject to the conditions set for 2006. This would mean a form of access control through payment. The council will take a stall at the Christmas bazaar on December 2. The PARC project was losing regular young member attendance. It had acquired \u00A36,536 from Local Network to organise drama workshops. There was a need for adult volunteers to help with supervision, especially at weekends. It was agreed to pay for the restoration of the Map of the Village Fire. Its final display location will be subject to controlled environmental conditions to ensure it does not deteriorate again. Expenditure for October was \u00A35,741.
