POLICE are investigating a potential child molester after a reported sexual assault in Sawtry and two indecent exposures in Huntingdon.
POLICE are investigating a potential child molester after a reported sexual assault in Sawtry and two indecent exposures in Huntingdon.
Cambridgeshire County Council issued a warning to parents after reports in Sawtry, Huntingdon and Houghton of a man watching children, molesting a child and trying to take a child into a white van.
A spokesman said: “We do not know if this is the same man.
“Please ensure you remain vigilant and continue to support ‘stranger danger’ awareness as we approach the summer holidays.”
A police spokesman said although investigations were under way, the police themselves had not received any complaints.
