FIREFIGHTERS were called to a field fire at Huntingdon Racecourse yesterday evening.
A call was made at 8.25pm to the course in Thrapston Road where crews arrived to find a bonfire burning out of control nearby standing crops.
The two crews from Huntingdon station extinguished the fire and returned to their stations by 9.20pm
