POLICE are appealing for information after thieves stole stone ornaments from a graveside.
Offenders took a 20in angel, an 18in teddy bear and a 20in cherub sat on a ball from a grave in Eaton Socon cemetery, in Little End Road.
The angel and teddy bear are a grey colour, and the cherub is yellow.
The theft happened between December 2 and 1.40pm on Sunday (December 12).
PC Kersten Richmond, investigating, said: “This is a very upsetting crime for the family involved and I would appeal to anyone with information to contact police.
“The stone ornaments were all quite large and very heavy and would have not been easy to steal.”
