ST NEOTS’ new celebrity signing will not be turning out this Saturday (January 14) as the Saints had hoped.
Mark Wright, who shot to fame as part of the Only Way is Essex series, is now unavailable for the game against Woodford United at The Hunts Post Community Stadium.
The club said that Wright had called St Neots manager Dennis Greene to say he would have to fly to Dubai on Saturday.
He had been due to fly out on Sunday morning to complete some filming for a fitness feature for the ITV programme Daybreak, but Wright’s schedule was changed and the flight moved to Saturday.
Wright is due back on Wednesday and could make his debut against Beaconsfield next Saturday (January 21).
