Police are investigating after he sustained a “flesh wound” in his hand, which may have been caused by a pellet, on November 27.
An ambulance was called to Huntingdon Street just before midnight and the man, who is in his 20s, was taken to Hinchingbrooke Hospital, Huntingdon.
A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said: “The injuries weren’t thought to be life-threatening. It was a flesh wound and didn’t appear to be serious.”
