A GREAT Paxton nursery has achieved a ‘good’ rating from Ofsted on its first inspection.

Butterfly House Day Nursery owner Jane Cable said she and her team had worked hard to help fulfil the vision she had when she bought the business in March of last year.

“We have achieved so much in such a relatively short space of time, not least that the reputation of the nursery has grown enormously,” she said. “Testament to this is that the number of registered children is now three times higher than when I first took over.”

The report said staff had provided “stimulating and well-resourced indoor and outdoor environments and successfully encourage children to become enthusiastic, motivated and active learners”.
