The grand opening of the Buttons and Bows Pre-School in Sawtry has taken place.
Staff and governors of the pre-school were joined by councillors, members of Cambridgeshire County Council, architects from the project and the Kier Construction team as well as members of the local community to officially mark its opening.
The new structure has been designed to be a nurturing and stimulating environment for learning, with bright classrooms and a fun outdoor learning zone. Situated at Sawtry Infants and Junior School, it offers 60 spaces for pupils.
Dennis Cotton, operations director for Kier Construction Eastern, said: “The response to the new pre-school has been fantastic. It is a building we are very proud of and builds on our position as a leading provider in the education sector.”
