PLANS have been submitted to turn a former conference centre in Hemingford Grey into a private home.
Three-hundred-year-old Hemingford Grey House has been empty since it closed as a conference centre at the end of September last year.
A planning application has been submitted to Huntingdonshire District Council by London-based firm Davies Architecture, on behalf of applicant Mrs L Clemmow, to turn the building back into a private home.
In addition, the former annex accommodation for the conference centre could be turned into holiday lets and a pool house for the main house.
In the application, the architect writes that the proposals would rectify the damage done by the conversion to a conference centre in 1973.
