Thirteen co-ordinators met on July 25 for the bi-monthly meeting. Chairman Mike Norris welcomed Helen Whitehead, who has taken on the co-ordinator's role for Harris Crescent. The device that had been handed in at the previous meeting was tested by the police and had been used for inhaling cannabis. This is an increasing problem in the district. There had been no reported crime since the last meeting. It was agreed to hold a social event for co-ordinators and their partners in September. The next meeting, which will be the AGM, was set for September 26.
