There had been four reported crimes in the parish and vandals broke windows in the bowls club. The village association has been awarded a citation for its work.
The meeting wanted higher visibility of uniformed police officers. A further 400 PCSO posts will be established next year. Staff at the police non-urgent response call centre at Peterborough will be increased by 60 per cent with the aim to answer all calls within 30 seconds. A post to provide feedback to the public on reported crimes will be established in 2007.
