Huntingdon played host to a Grammy award-winning songwriter as part of a new festival.
Papa Echo 29 welcomed Amy Wadge to the town, a singer-songwriter who is best known for co-writing Ed Sheeran’s No 1 hit, Thinking Out Loud.
The festival saw a host of other top acts perform in venues throughout the town, including Glenn Tilbrook, who took the stage of the Commemoration Hall after performing with his band Squeeze on the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury in June.
Fans were quick to snap up tickets and the hall was packed out for a night of 80s nostalgia.
On Saturday, Henry Priestman, of the Christians, accompanied by Les Glover, performed in the Huntingdon Town Hall court room.
On the final night, All Saint’s Church was filled with acoustic sound by Cambridgeshire artist Ruby Muse and Amy Wadge and Pete Riley.
One of the organisers, Ste Greenall said: “I would like to thank a lot of people but it may be better that we list them all on our website soon but for Sunday’s stunning performance by Pete Riley and Amy Wadge, we can’t thank Andrew and Sue Milton enough for allowing us to use St Mary’s Church.”
