A motorist suffered neck injuries after a car crashed into a ditch near Perry on Sunday.
Crews from the East of England Ambulance Service and Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service were called at about 7pm to a stretch of the B661, following reports of a crash involving two cars.
A spokesman for the ambulance service said: “The East of England Ambulance Service Trust dispatched two ambulance crews to the B661, Perry, where they treated a woman in her 40s with reported neck injuries. The woman was taken to Hinchingbrooke Hospital for further care.”
It is understood that motorist’s injuries were serious but not life-threatening.
Firefighters from St Neots and Huntingdon helped to cut the woman free from the vehicle, and returned to their stations by 8.15pm.
