FIREFIGHTERS cut free a motorist who was trapped in their car after a two-car accident on Saturday night.
Emergency services were called to the A141 at Old Hurst at 7.15pm and the police closed the road as fire crews from Ramsey and Huntingdon worked to free the person trapped.
The motorist was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge, as a precaution.
Traffic was diverted through Old Hurst as the road was closed for three hours until the vehicles were recovered.
