A man suffered “life-changing injuries” in a collision on the B1040 near Papworth on Friday.
Emergency services were called at about 6.15am to a stretch of the B1040 following a collision between a car and a motorcycle.
Cambridgeshire police, the East of England Ambulance Service, and a rapid response vehicle from Magpas all attended.
A spokesman for Magpas said: “Magpas doctor Mike Carachi and paramedic Steve Chambers arrived at the B1040 via a Magpas Air Ambulance rapid response vehicle. “They had been called to treat a man who had suffered life-changing injuries in a collision between a motorcycle and a car.
“The Magpas team assessed the patient, in his 50s, who had sustained a serious limb injury. They sedated the patient at the scene in order to protect his injuries and gave him advanced pain relief before accompanying him to Addenbrooke’s Hospital via land ambulance. The patient was in a stable condition upon arrival.”
