A motorcyclist has been killed in an accident on the A14 between Fenstanton and Swavesey.
Police were called to the scene on the eastbound carriageway at 5.42pm yesterday evening (Sunday). They closed the carriageway from Godmanchester (junction 24) to Bar Hill (junction 29), which remained shut until 10pm.
Inspector Jamie Rice of Cambridgeshire Police confirmed that the motorcycle was the only vehicle involved in the collision.
The adult male motorbike rider’s next of kin have not yet been informed.
