A MOTORCYCLIST was rushed to hospital with serious head injuries following a crash at Kimbolton yesterday.
The man, believed to be in his 50s, sustained head injuries and a possible fractured hip following the collision with a transit van on Thrapston Road near the Robinson petrol station at 4.15pm.
The casualty was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital.
An East of England ambulance service spokesman said: “A 50-year-old man was injured in the collision. Crews treated him before taking him to Addenbrooke’s Hospital with a possible head injury and a possible fractured hip. The man was breathing normally and was fully alert.”
Police attended the scene, and the bike was recovered at 6.45pm. Anyone who witnessed the crash should call Cambridgeshire Police on 0345 456 456 4.
