A man was seriously injured in a crash between a motorbike and a large animal near Warboys yesterday (Sunday).
The rider, who is in his 50s, was travelling on the A141 near the village when the accident happened. Police were called at 4.35pm, but a spokesman could not confirm what type of animal was involved.
The East of England Ambulance Service treated the man, who had come off his bike and suffered a serious chest injury. He also had leg, arm and back pain.
Meanwhile, Magpas Helimedix Doctor Alex Cross and paramedic Rob Riches provided him with advanced pain relief and accompanied him to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge, in a land ambulance.
On arrival, he was in serious but stable condition.
