A WOMAN was dragged out of the river between Huntingdon and Godmanchester this morning by police and ambulance crew.
The woman, a patient of Hinchingbrooke Hospital, was reported missing at 6.30am. She was found in the water near the Old Bridge Hotel in Castle Moat Road an hour later, and taken back to hospital where her condition is said not to be serious.
A Cambridgeshire Police spokesman said: βA woman was found in the water. She was brought out and taken to hospital. She seemed OK. Her condition is not too serious.
βIt followed an initial call at 6.30am of a person missing from Hinchingbrooke Hospital.β
The woman is believed to be in her 20s.
