A SEARCH and rescue team was looking for a “vulnerable” missing woman in Huntingdon yesterday (Monday)
Cambridgeshire Search and Rescue (CamSAR) was assisting police officers in searching the river bank between the Old Bridge Hotel and Hartford Church between 2.30pm and 5.30pm.
The 10 volunteers then switched their attention to parkland around Stukeley Meadows at around 7.30pm, after police received new information.
At about 9pm, 24 hours after she had gone missing, the 34-year-old, from the Oxmoor, was found along Stukeley Road. She was taken to hospital.
A spokesman for CamSAR said had been called in after police were concerned about a vulnerable woman.
