EMERGENCY medics were airlifted to attend to a 29-yearold motorcyclist seriously injured in a collision in Woodwalton yesterday evening (Wednesday).
Police said the man, who was hurt after being thrown from his machine in a collision with a car on the B1090 road at around 6.30pm, had not sustained life-threatening injuries.
St Ives-based medical emergency charity Magpas said its doctor and paramedic continued to care for the patient on his way by land ambulance to the specialist trauma centre at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge.
The road was re-opened at about 8pm.
