A man was taken to hospital after a crash in Gamlingay this morning.
Two vehicles were involved in the collision on Drove Road, where one car hit a tree. A fire crew from the village and one from St Neots were called at 7.40am, where they used specialist cutting equipment to release one casualty.
An ambulance and a rapid response car were sent to the scene of the crash, which three people were involved in. Only a man in his 20s required treatment for a back injury and was taken to Hinchingbrooke Hospital. An East of England Ambulance Service spokesman said that the injury was “not thought to be anything serious”.
