A man suffered a broken leg after falling from height in St Neots on Thursday (July 27).
The Magpas emergency medical team sent a rapid response vehicle to the town at about 4.45pm following reports that a man, believed to be in his 50s, had suffered serious leg injuries.
A spokesman for Magpas said: “The enhanced medical team assessed the patient who had badly broken bones and sedated him at the scene - providing him with A&E level care - in order to protect his injuries.
“They then accompanied the man to Bedford Hospital via land ambulance, providing him with ongoing pain relief and monitoring his condition the whole way. The patient was in a stable condition upon arrival.”
An East of England Ambulance Service paramedic crew was also in attendance.
