A man has been charged with murder following the death of a woman in St Neots yesterday morning (Saturday 22 December).

A man has been charged with murder following the death of a woman in St Neots on Saturday (December 22).

Robert McWhir, 25, of Potton Road, in St Neots, was arrested on Saturday after the woman’s body was found in Loves Way.

The woman who is believed to have been in her 20’s was pronounced dead at around 4:20am on Saturday.

McWhir was remanded in custody and is due to appear at Huntingdon Magistrates’ Court on Monday (December 24).
