A man in his 70s was airlifted to hospital after being crushed by a lorry in Great Gidding.
Magpas Helimedix and a team from the East of England Ambulance Service were called at about 9am on New Year’s Day to Milking Slade Lane.
A spokesman for Magpas said: “The Magpas medical team assessed the man, in his 70s, who had sustained pelvic and leg injuries. They administered pain relief before airlifting the patient to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, in Cambridge.”
A spokesman for the ambulance service added that the man had suffered “traumatic injuries” in the incident but was in a stable condition upon arrival at hospital.
According to Magpas, the man’s injuries were sustained in an incident involving a lorry.
