A MAN is due in court today (Monday) after being charged with attempted murder.
Sam Stimpson, 22, of Broadway, Crowland, was arrested over the weekend in connection with an attack with a machete in Musgrove Way, St Neots, at about 7.50pm on July 12.
A police helicopter was launched and a man and woman, both aged 31, were arrested in connection but another man escaped.
The victim, a man in his 20s, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Stimpson is due to appear before Huntingdon magistrates.
