A MAN has been arrested following a series of break-ins where homes were burgled as the owners slept upstairs.
Four homes in Wyton were targeted between 10.30pm on August 18 and the early hours of the following day as burglars entered through unlocked doors or windows taking cash and electrical equipment.
A digital camera, trainers, money and documents were stolen from two homes in Gloucester Road, and an iPad, cash and documents stolen from a property in Hampshire Road.
The offenders tried to enter another home nearby, but nothing was stolen.
Detective Dan Cooper said: “I would urge residents to check their properties are secure late at night or if they are going out.”
? A 25-year-old arrested in connection with the burglaries has been bailed until September 20.
