A man was airlifted to hospital yesterday (Monday) after suffering a fall in Ramsey.
A team from the Magpas air ambulance was called at about 5pm after reports that a man, understood to be in his 80s, had suffered serious injuries after falling.
The East of England Ambulance Service was also in attendance.
A spokesman for Magpas said: “Doctor Jon Barratt, paramedic Alex Pearce and doctor Simon Lewis landed in Ramsey via the Magpas air ambulance. They had been called to treat a man who had been injured in a fall.
“The Magpas enhanced medical team assessed the patient who had sustained a serious leg injury. They administered advanced pain relief at the scene before airlifting him to Addenbrooke’s Hospital. He was in a stable condition upon arrival.”
