A man suffered severe injuries following a collision close to Hartford Marina in the early hours of this morning (Tuesday).
The crash, involving one car, took place outside Hartford Marina Clubhouse, on the A1123, at about 1.25am.
Two crews from Huntingdon Fire Station attended the scene, and used specialist cutting equipment to remove the roof of the car and free the passenger, a man in his 30s.
Paramedics from the East of England Ambulance Service, along with a Magpas medical response car treated the man at the scene for severe chest injuries and a broken leg.
The man was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, in Cambridge, for further care.
According to a police spokesman the driver of the car was not at the scene when emergency services arrived.
