CHILDREN and adults alike were green with goodness as they did their bit for Magpas last week by taking part by wearing green clothing, holding dress-down days and wearing fancy dress ... and all to raise money.
The emergency medical charity’s Green Day is now an annual event, and it is hoped the support it received on Friday will have helped it smash last year’s fundraising total of nearly 5,000.
One of the largest gestures for Green Day was from Mick George – the company painted a skip green and delivered it to Magpas HQ ay Wyton to raise awareness of the fundraising event.
Antonia Brickell, spokesman for Magpas, said: “Thanks to all The Hunts Post readers who have supported us, especially through Magpas Month which ended with our Green Day.
“Without you we would not be able to continue.”
