A woman was taken to hospital after severely injuring her ankle while walking in Brampton Wood.
The ambulance service were called to the scene at 1.42pm yesterday (Wednesday). Due to the patient being in a difficult location away from the road, Magpas Helimedix Doctor Simon Lewis and paramedic Sally Boor also attended the incident. They assessed the woman, who is in her 70s, before working alongside an ambulance crew to move her safely into the back of a land ambulance and take her to Hinchingbrooke Hospital.
On arrival, she was in a comfortable condition.
