A MAN had a lucky escape after a car he was working on fell on him ... but was able to walk away unhurt.
He was working under the car at his home in Russett Avenue, in Needingworth, at around 3pm on Saturday when it fell, trapping him.
Firefighters from St Ives and Huntingdon lifted the car up so the man, in his 50s, could be freed. The East Anglian Air Ambulance was also called.
An EAAA spokesman said: “With these types of incidents, you’re never sure what type of injuries are sustained and they can be quite serious - even life threatening - but this person was fine and no treatment was needed.”
