Traffic came to a standstill on the A141 on Thursday after a lorry carrying straw shed its load onto a roundabout.
The incident took place at about 2.30pm at the Huntingdon Road junction of the Hartford roundabout, with a large quantity of straw spilling onto the road.
Cambridgeshire police were called to direct traffic while efforts were made to clear the straw, with the road re-open again within the hour.
