Police were called to Chequer Street in Fenstanton at about 6.55pm last night, after an articulated lorry jack-knifed opposite the King William IV hotel.
Police were called to Chequer Street in Fenstanton at about 6.55pm last night, after an articulated lorry jack-knifed opposite the King William IV hotel.
The 24 ton vehicle from Lithuania was carrying furniture, when it became stuck on the grass whilst trying to turn around on the B1040 road, which has weight restrictions in place.
The lorry was eventually recovered to Oakington at about 11pm. No-one was injured.
