Long tailbacks on A14 following incident with lorry

LONG tailbacks have been reported after a junction off the A14 was closed because of an incident with a lorry today.

Cambridgeshire police were called to Spittals roundabout, after a lorry ended up on its side on the gyratory above the A14 at junction 23 at 12.25pm.

An East of England Ambulance crew treated one person for minor injuries at the scene.

The gyratory was closed while the Highways Agency recovered the vehicle, and traffic was diverted to the next junction. It has now been cleared.
