A VILLAGE shop has been ram raided by thieves earlier this week.
The offenders, wearing dark clothing and balaclavas, stole a Land Rover from Newmarket before using the car to ram their way into the Costcutters, in Parkway, Little Paxton at 11.20pm on Monday (April 9).
They loaded an ATM machine into another vehicle, believed to be a green Volvo estate.
Cambridgeshire police found some clothes burning in a barn in Easton Road, St Neots, shortly after midnight.
Detective Constable Becky Mainwood said: “I would urge anyone who saw either of these vehicles prior to the raid, or the Volvo afterwards, to call the police.
“I would also like to hear from anyone who saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area in the days leading up to the incident.”
INFORMATION: Anyone with any information should call DC Mainwood on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
