More than 200 boxes of Christmas goodies and essential items have been distributed throughout the St Neots area to help vulnerable people in the coming weeks.

Volunteers and members of the Tesco community team made up the boxes of items, which included toiletries, chocolate, hats and socks, that had been donated by customers shopping at the Barford Road store. The Tesco Little Boxes campaign was coordinated by Leanne Buckley from the store’s community team.

“We would like to thank all of our customers who donated items towards the Little Boxes this year,” said Leanne.

“Together we gave out more than 200 boxes in and around St Neots and without the support of our customers this would not be possible.”
