Firefighters extinguished a blaze under a bridge in a Huntingdonshire village yesterday (Thursday).
Crews from Kimbolton and Huntingdon were called to a large fire in the open at Stonely Road, Easton, at 6.15pm.
About five tonnes of sawn wood under the humpback bridge had caught alight. The cause of fire is unknown.
The firefighters closed the road between Easton and Stonely while they worked.
They returned to their bases by 8.35pm.
