Muriel Dawson presented a cheque for £1,166 towards the community hall funds. Phillip Mellor accepted it on behalf of the committee and commented on the fact that the Tuesday Club had collected more than any other group. We started in the year 2000 with a cheque for £50. The total now stands at over £8,500.
The football buster was won by Linda and Margaret, each receiving £12. The raffle raised £19.50. Winners were Sally, Pam H, Ena, May, Muriel, Betty and Mavis.
