Police are investigating after reports of an armed robbery in Warboys.
The robbery, which took place yesterday afternoon (January 23), at Amar Foodstore, in High Street, saw an offender enter the store and produce a knife before demanding cash.
Cambridgeshire police are looking to speak to a male in connection with the incident.
No one was injured however the offender made off with cash from a till.
The man, described as white, of a large build, 5”7 – 5”10 with short fair hair, was wearing a blue jacket, grey hooded top, dark Adidas tracksuit bottoms, black trainersn and a black woollen hat and dark scarf.
Cambridgeshire police said on Facebook: “Extensive local enquiries are ongoing, however, we are asking anyone who lives in the area who has CCTV or a dash cam to check the footage and to call our serious crime team at Huntingdon Police Station if you believe you have captured anything that will assist in this investigation.”
