A KARATE instructor from Wyton has been jailed after sexually assaulting two teenage girls.
A KARATE instructor from Wyton has been jailed after sexually assaulting two teenage girls.
James Tothill, 27, assaulted the girls, both aged under 16, after meeting them at the club where he taught.
He sent the girls text messages and e-mails before arranging to meet up with them on several occasions last summer.
Police were called in after family members of one of the girls raised concerns.
Tothill, of Bedford Avenue, Wyton, pleaded guilty to five charges of sexual activity with girls aged under 16.
He was jailed for five years at Huntingdon Crown Court on Wednesday (January 12),was banned from working with children and made the subject of a Sexual Offenders’ Prevention Order.

Detective Constable Jo Bushnell, who investigated, said: “Tothill was in a position of trust as a karate instructor and abused that power.
“This sentence should serve as a warning to people who think they can get away with such behaviour.”
