The Hunts Post reported last week how the 18-month-old snake went missing from its home in Samuel Court, Little Paxton.
Owner Daniel Oxford has been looking for the 4ft-long reptile ever since, and was buoyed by a suspected sighting in Gordon Road, Little Paxton.
But after investigating, it turned out to be a false alarm.
Although Mr Oxford believes his pet may have perished in cold night-time conditions, he still hopes to find her.
“The house next door to where I looked has a garden with perfect conditions for a snake to live in,” he said. “When the owner comes back off holiday I’m going to go round and see if she’s there.”
