Jewellery stolen in raid on house in Somersham

Burglars stole jewellery after breaking in to a house in Somersham at the weekend.

The incident took place between 6.30pm on Saturday and 9am the following morning, at a house in Whitehall Close.

PCSO Lee Hurley, of Cambridgeshire police, said: “In this offence, offenders have forced a rear door of the property and have conducted an untidy search before stealing jewellery.”

Anyone who believes that they may have seen or heard anything suspicious is asked to call Huntingdonshire burglary team on 101, or alternatively call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
