And police are linking the burglary on Potton Road on Wednesday (October 5) with two others in the area on the same day. Burglars stole a range of golf clothing including several distinctive items, such as Lobster slipovers, short and long-sleeved Dress4Golf polo shirts, five Golfino Gilets and 70 Kasco gloves. The offenders also took jewellery including wedding and engagement rings plus a bespoke gold bracelet featuring a diamond, sapphire and opals. A childrens John Deere ride-on tractor and trailer was also taken during the break-in, which happened between 8.30am and 3pm. Another property on Potton Road was targeted between 11.50am and 1.45pm on the same day, when car keys, documents and a baseball bat were stolen. A home in Meadow Road, Great Gransden, was also targeted that morning. Car keys, jewellery, computer equipment, two iPods and Panasonic and Kodak digital cameras were stolen. Detective constable Sharon Popple, investigating, said: These were high value burglaries and I would urge anyone who is offered the jewellery or other items for sale to contact police. In particular, I would ask people to look out for the golf clothing which is very distinctive and can only be bought over the internet. INFORMATION: Anyone with any information should call DC Popple on 0345 456 4564 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
